What is the rule on personal cell phones in your office?

cell phones

I work in a small office and we all keep our personal cell phones on all day and answer them when we get a call. I am just wondering what the rest of the world is doing now that cell phones are so popular.

Thanks for your answers! Have a great day!

if its not intrusive to others it should be allowed. My office is OK with it.

i work as a temp in a big company and soon to become permanent and they dont seem to have a problem with our using our cell phones at work… only problem is that most people have annoying really loud ringtones that can be distracting when you trying to work.

people can use cell phones as they want but should also learn to tun down the ringing volume during working hours!!!

why have a phone if you cant use it or gonna take peoples calls??? just be mindful of others
